Before Andy Warhol became one of the most recognisable figures in contemporary art, he worked for over a decade as a commercial illustrator in New York. His mass-production screen-printing technique and his talent for transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary led to his breakthrough. The collaboration between The Skateroom, the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and Artestar draws on iconic works by the late artist to create unique art objects in the form of skateboard decks. Thanks to the wall mounts and instructions provided, these can be used at home as decorative wall hangings. Material: 7-ply Canadian maple, Grade A Size of a single deck: 80 cm x 20 cm Avoid direct sunlight Includes instructions for wall mounting and one wall bracket per deck Skateboard decks are intended for decorative purposes but can still be used for skating
