The LA Lakers Authentic ‘96-97’ shorts date from the 1996–1997 season, during which none other than Kobe Bryant – aka the Black Mamba – was drafted to the LA Lakers after a series of twists and turns. The shorts feature ‘1996–1997 Los Angeles Lakers’ embroidery on the inner hem. The NBA logo is also featured at the bottom of the shorts.
